유니세프 주관 청소년과 어린이를 위한 글로벌 혁신 정상회의(ITU & UNICEF’s Global Innovation Summit for Youth and Children), ITU 김은주국장(EunJuKim)참석 , 2015년11월 9일~10일 헬싱키에서 개최(in Helsinki, 9-10 November) 유니세프가 핀란드 외교부와 협약하여 첫번째 어린이와 청소년 글로벌 혁신 정상회의를 11월9~10일 이틀에 걸쳐 핀란드 헬싱키 핀란디아 홀에서 개최하였다. 두가지 사항이 논의 되었다. 1. 십억 인구에게 필요한 생필품을 어떻게 마련할 수있을까? 2.기술이나 민간부분에서 어떤 기회를 제공해 주는 것이 향후 5년 동안 아이들에게 가장 큰 영향을 줄 수 있을까? 유엔 ICT 전자통신개발부 혁신협력부의 수장인 김은주 국장께서는 덧붙였다. 김국장은 5G기술이 향후 5년 안에 이 혁신에 도움을 줄거라고 확신했다. 그녀는 사람들에게 기술개발자들이 충분히 사용 가능한 디바이스를 제공해 주기를 요청했다. The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland just held the first Global Innovation Summit for Children and Youth at the Finlandia Hall in Helsinki, Finland with 2 questions setting the discussions there: 1. How do we get important products to a billion people? 2. Which opportunities from the technology or private sector will have the biggest impact on children in the next 5 years? Eun-Ju Kim, Chief – Innovation and Partnership Department in the Telecommunication Development Bureau at the ITU, added she was sure that efficient 5G technology would be present to support innovation within the next 5 years. She also asked that people be more demanding of their technology manufacturers in giving them devices they can make full use of.
